I'm Sophie - the hands and heart behind Venus Moon. I've spent more than fifteen years studying this work across many of Belfast's most respected holistic spaces, training in style after style, travelling as far as Goa for some of it. But if I'm honest, it has always felt less like learning and more like remembering, as though my hands knew it before I did. I was born on a Friday, the day that belongs to Venus, with both my Venus and Moon in Cancer: the sign of care, of water, of feeling. The name was always going to be this.

No fixed routine, no two treatments the same. I read what your body is saying on the day, and the mood you've carried in with it, and draw on the whole of my training to shape something made, only for you. Some days that's deep and corrective; some days slow, flowing and barely there. I've never believed the body stops at the skin, so I work with the physical and the energetic together, the way the older traditions always did.

Everything from proper deep tissue and myofascial release to the slower, flowing styles I gathered over the years - Lomi Lomi, Balinese, Ayurvedic. There's aromatherapy and lymphatic drainage too, both manual and the firmer Brazilian method, for when the body feels puffy, heavy or stuck. I don't work from a fixed routine. I read what your body's doing that day and let the treatment follow, the way the tide follows the moon.

Reiki, for when the mind won’t quiet and the body’s holding he weight of it. I tune into your chakras as I work and tell you what I find afterwards. I’m an Usui Reiki Master, also trained in Angelic, Ascension and Kundalini reiki as I’ve never believed the body stops at the skin
